Cherub is a tiny fairy of a person, with hands that have been performing magic with sound healing for over a decade
- Farrah Storr, Elle Magazine

After earning a 1st class business degree from Newcastle University in 2007, I proudly hung my certificate on my parent's dining room wall and set off on a journey to explore the world.
The next six years were an exhilarating adventure—immersed in festivals, travel, and an ongoing spiral through vibrant colours, chaos, and cosmic wonder.
It was during this time that I discovered the transformative power of sound healing, eventually pursuing sound healer training.
This new path allowed me to deepen my connection to the world around me and explore the healing potential within.
From the depths of Peru to the Pyramids, and Indian temples to German techno superclubs, and many other places in between, I immersed myself in different cultures, climates, and communities.
Whether at cave parties in Ibiza or Brazilian churches on secret islands off the coast of Bahia, I became captivated by how sound was at the core of every tribe, acting as the very fabric that united them.
Singing at sunrise, drumming at sunset, chanting mantras in the mountains, and hearing Native flutes in the forest, I witnessed profound moments—babies being sung into the world and elders passing on, surrounded by the healing sound of loved ones.
My journey with sound evolved into a deep exploration of sound healing, and it quickly became one of my greatest joys.
It was a gateway to reconnection, and I felt called to pursue sound healing training in the UK, eager to learn about the transformative power of sound healing instruments.
When I returned to the UK in 2010, I felt a stark contrast in our sound healer experience—here, the sound seemed more structured, with a clear divide between performers and listeners.
This was so different from the freedom of expression I had embraced while traveling. Unlike today, where the wellness movement has flourished with singing circles and sound healing sessions happening nightly in London, there was almost nothing like that when I first came home.
It made me wonder—could this lack of connection through sound be deepening the sense of disconnection so many feel in the Western world?
This realization led me on a personal journey to learn, heal, and grow, using sound healing energy as a practice for self-discovery. Over time, it became my soul’s mission to raise global awareness of sound as a powerful vibrational medicine—one that fosters healing, connection, and a deeper sense of belonging.
Our distant worlds collided with a fortuitous meeting in 2011. Uniting over the greater goal of uplifting humanity through sound, I became Tim’s one and only protege. Tim has been my greatest teacher, my mentor, my wacktastically weird and wonderful wingman, and a never-ending source of inspiration and laughter to me on my journey through sound.
Together, performing, teaching, speaking, producing and recording globally, we are often referred to as “The masters of high-frequency”. We have co-pioneered the field of transformational sound together for 13 years and counting. And long may it continue!
After rooting myself in London for a couple of years, I began to crave that ceremonial feeling from my travelling years of sitting amongst a likeminded tribe and singing - for no other reason than just to simply, sing.
Back then, other than more performative, structured choirs, there didn’t seem to be any singing circles for me to join, they certainly weren’t the growing trend they have become of recent years.
Because I couldn’t find one to join, I created one! I started Sister Sound Circle in 2013, with my spirit mama, Lindka Cierach, through my own desire to sing in a safe environment with a sisterhood, who’s ethos was to complete each other, not compete with each other…
It’s been an epic journey, from starting out - not sure how to hold a circle, or what it should consist of - we kept holding them under the light of every full moon, and our Sister Sound Circle grew and grew. 10 years on, we have opened our circle to women both living in and travelling through London from all over the world.
Sister Sound Circle is a sacred space, celebrating and supporting women in our community. Together we sing, drum. share, laugh, cry, meditate and elevate our consciousness as one tribe.
After receiving my very first crystal bowl from my parents, gifted to me from the trunk of Glastonbury’s top crystal dealer’s car at Cheztival, my 30th birthday festival, I became deeply fascinated by the incredible power of Quartz crystal—truly the mother of all healing technologies.
We share a natural affinity with quartz, with elements of crystal present in our very own bodies! The celestial sound of crystal bowls resonated deeply with me, inspiring me to incorporate this sacred energy into our soundscapes. I was motivated to create a brand of exquisite yet affordable crystal bowls, making them accessible to all students and fellow sound healers passionate about sound healing.
